Create Detailed Repair Sequence and process plans for Disassembly, Assembly and Repair operations on aero engine components.
Evaluate product discrepancies and determine repairability, usability, or disposition in alignment with engineering and quality standards.
Define repair/rework methods, acceptance criteria, and validation requirements within the technical authorization.
Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate and timely authorization.
Ensure that the repair scheme comply with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Perform risk assessments and impact analysis before approving deviations or repair actions.
Maintain traceability and documentation for all technical documents issued.
Support audits by providing repair records, technical justifications, and compliance evidence.
Drive continuous improvement by analysing new trends and reducing recurring deviations through design or process changes
Must have:
5 - 8 Years of experience in Repair Design Engineering
A strong team player and people-oriented leader who performs effectively under pressure, including in demanding or high‑stress operational environments.
Well‑versed in aircraft and aero‑engine components, their functional details, and associated operating procedures.
Proficient in interpreting Pratt & Whitney, Rolls‑Royce, and GE engine manuals, repair schemes, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other relevant technical documentation.
Skilled in applying engine manuals—especially Cleaning & Inspection chapters, Special Process Manuals (SPMs), and Overhaul process documentation—to execute and validate repair activities.
Demonstrated knowledge and hands‑on experience in Aero‑Engine MRO processes, including both engine overhaul and component repair.
Good understanding of manufacturing and inspection tools and special processes commonly used in repair and overhaul operations.
Knowledgeable in tooling and fixture design and their applications within MRO environments.
Strong understanding of Engine Manuals, Special Process Manuals, and approved repair processes, ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards.
Solid knowledge of GD&T and familiarity with ASME Y14.5‑1994 standards.
Effective communicator with the ability to lead technical discussions with customers and stakeholders, provide clarity on engineering topics, and support informed decision‑making.
Competent in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
