Job summary

Alstom in Coimbatore seeks a full-time Components Subsystem Manager to lead the RS Electrical Wiring Harness and Cubicle project, ensuring QCD commitments and coordinating with Industrial, Finance, Quality, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams.

You will manage detailed planning from Notice to Proceed through warranty, drive change and configuration management, and handle variation orders while fostering collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience with international teams is desirable.
• Familiarity with rail industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead RS Electrical Wiring Harness and Cubicle project to meet QCD goals.
• Plan from Notice to Proceed to warranty end; manage changes and configurations.
• Communicate deliverables and goals to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee budget, financial reporting, and risk/opportunity management.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and innovative teammates.

You’ll lead and execute the RS Electrical Wiring Harenss and cabinet sub-system Project, ensuring QCD commitments are met in line with Project & EDC & Electrical requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Industrial, Finance, Quality, Sourcing, Supply Chain), organize the project, build the project team, and much more.You’ll specifically take care of the detailed planning from Notice to Proceed to end of Warranty, ensure strong Change & configuration management, and manage variation orders.

We’ll look to you for:

• Ensuring commercial success and customer satisfaction, considering all stakeholders.
• Leading the RS Electrical Harness and Cubicle project to meet QCD objectives
• Clear communication of deliverables and goals to internal & external stakeholders
• Effective control of the budget and financial reporting
• Identification and management of risks and opportunities

• Graduate and Post Graduate in (Electrical/Mechanical) degree
• Experience or understanding of Project Management (15+ yrs preferred)

• A PMP/IPMA certification (highly preferable)
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
