Job summary

Nordex Group in India is seeking an experienced engineer for the development of medium voltage (MV) components such as transformers and cables. The role covers concept and detailed design, validation and industrialization, with collaboration across global teams.

You will assess designs from external suppliers, provide documentation and PLM support, and contribute to other areas like nacelle production, sourcing, supplier QA, customer projects and service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in MV components development (transformers, cables).
• Experience in wind industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Concept and detailed design, validation and industrialization of MV components.
• Design assessment and validation of MV components provided by external suppliers.
• Documentation, Product Lifecycle Management and 3rd level field support for MV components.
• Support for other business areas, e.g. Nacelle Production, Global Sourcing, Supplier Quality Assurance, Customer Project Management and Service.
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working.
• Strong communication and team skills paired with intercultural competence.
• Hands-on and proactive mentality.
• Customer-oriented interaction with stakeholders.
