Job summary

A leading renewable energy company in Chennai is seeking an experienced engineer for the development of medium voltage (MV) components. Responsibilities include design assessment and validation of components, support for various business areas, and documentation management. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Industrial Engineering (Electrical) and over 5 years of experience in MV component development, particularly in the wind industry. A strong focus on customer-oriented interaction is also essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in development of MV Components (transformers, cables).
• Experience in the wind industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Concept and detailed design, validation, and industrialization of MV components.
• Design assessment and validation of MV components provided by external suppliers.
• Support for Nacelle Production, Global Sourcing, Supplier Quality Assurance.
• Documentation, Product Lifecycle Management, and 3rd level field support.
