Job summary

CADMAXX in Bengaluru is looking for a skilled Component Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hardware circuit board design and testing, along with a B. Tech/BE in Electrical Engineering. Responsibilities include building BOM structures and managing change processes.

Applicants should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience and must be self-starters with strong analytical skills. This role requires collaboration with global stakeholders and effective communication. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in part life cycle verification as confirmed by manufacturer.

• Knowledge in Hardware Analog and Digital circuit board designing.
• Knowledge in Hardware testing, Functionality testing and system level testing.
• Knowledge on change management process (ECR/ECO)

Desired Characteristics

• B. Tech/BE Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 - 5 years of industry experience.
• Ability to understand electrical designs and obsolescence management.
• Ability to interpret EBOM, understand Engineering drawings & Specifications.
• Product Life Cycle Management Knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented and able to multi-task.
• Good team player with communication and interpersonal Skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Part life cycle verification as confirmed by manufacturer. BOM scrubbing and roadmap analysis.
• Building BoM structure in PLM tool.
• Preparation of component selection criteria/guideline/manual. Build part library with approved components.
• Review supplier Product Change Notices (PCN) for impact and provide obsolescence data to customers.
• Suggest alternate parts using Form Fit Function and value engineering.
• Standardization of Electrical and Electromechanical components in database. Parameter mapping and technology trends.
• Review & verify identified components with subject matter experts. Work closely with global stakeholders.
• Support change management process (ECR/ECO).
• Experience in IHS/Silicon Expert, PLM/PDM tools like My Workshop, MAGIC, etc.
