Job summary

Adani Transmission (ATL) seeks a senior professional to lead compliance governance for large infrastructure projects. You will establish frameworks, oversee regulatory filings, licenses, and audits, and coordinate with authorities and contractors to ensure adherence across program lifecycles.

Required are 12–15 years in compliance/risk, a relevant degree, and preferably an infrastructure focus. The role emphasizes governance, reporting, and continuous improvement within a major utility portfolio.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience in compliance, governance, risk management, audit, legal compliance, or regulatory affairs.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Management, Commerce, or related discipline.
• MBA in Infrastructure/Business Management will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance management framework for airport infrastructure projects and associated business functions.
• Ensure compliance of concessionaire agreements, company policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance mechanisms.
• Maintain a centralized compliance obligations register covering laws, regulations, approvals, licenses, and contractual commitments.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Law, Engineering, Management, Commerce, or related discipline.
• MBA (Infrastructure/Business Management) will be an added advantage.
• 12-15 years of experience in compliance, governance, risk management, audit, legal compliance, or regulatory affairs.
• Experience in infrastructure, airport, real estate, construction, utilities, or large-scale project environments preferred.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder compliance requirements across project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Compliance Governance & Framework

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance management framework for airport infrastructure projects and associated business functions.
• Ensure compliances of concessionaire agreement, company policies & procedures, guidelines, and governance mechanisms aligned with corporate requirements.
• Maintain a centralized compliance obligations register covering all applicable laws, regulations, approvals, licenses, and contractual commitments.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory reports, permits, licenses, and regulatory filings.
• Monitor validity and renewal of licenses, approvals, registrations, and statutory permissions.
• Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders for compliance-related matters.
• Monitor closure of audit observations and compliance gaps.

Risk Management

• Perform compliance risk assessments and identify high-risk areas across projects and business functions.
• Develop mitigation plans and control measures for identified compliance risks.
• Maintain compliance risk registers and track mitigation effectiveness.
• Escalate critical compliance risks to management with recommended actions.
• Monitor compliance obligations of external stakeholders engaged on projects.

Reporting & MIS

• Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, trackers, and management reports.
• Present compliance status, risk exposure, overdue actions, and trend analysis to management.
• Generate periodic compliance MIS for project leadership and corporate governance reviews.
• Monitor compliance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Ethics & Awareness

• Promote ethical business conduct and adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
• Conduct compliance awareness sessions and training programs for employees and contractors.
• Support whistleblower mechanisms and compliance investigations where required.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and compliance across the organization.

Continuous Improvement

• Track changes in applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements.
• Update compliance frameworks and processes in response to regulatory changes.
• Benchmark compliance practices against industry best practices.
• Drive digitization and automation of compliance management processes.
