Job summary

Adani Airport Holdings Ltd. is seeking a senior professional to lead the execution of non-aero capital projects from concept to handover. You will establish integrated execution plans, track milestones, and monitor risks, budgets, and resources, while coordinating with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes design governance, commercial discipline, sustainability, and achieving operational readiness for airport assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/related discipline is required.
• Master's degree in PM/Infrastructure Mgmt or MBA is preferred.
• 15–18 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery.
• 5+ years managing projects in operational airports, metro systems, or live environments.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple stakeholders during project execution.

Design & Technical Governance

• Oversee design development activities for commercial and non-aero assets.
• Ensure designs meet business, operational, sustainability, and customer experience requirements.
• Facilitate value engineering and optimization initiatives to enhance project returns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, statutory requirements, and airport regulations.

Commercial & Financial Management

• Develop project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
• Monitor project costs and ensure delivery within approved budgets.
• Evaluate commercial implications of design and execution decisions.
• Support procurement strategies, tender evaluations, contract award, and vendor selection processes.
• Monitor financial performance and return on investment of non-aero projects.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with internal stakeholders including Commercial, Retail, Finance, Operations, Security, Sustainability, Legal, and Corporate Development teams.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities, government agencies, utility providers, consultants, and developers.
• Build effective relationships with concessionaires, tenants, business partners, and external investors.
• Facilitate timely decision-making through structured governance and reporting mechanisms.

Risk Management & Governance

• Establish project governance frameworks and reporting structures.
• Identify critical project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Monitor project compliance with approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of project bottlenecks

Sustainability & Innovation

• Promote sustainable infrastructure development practices.
• Integrate energy efficiency, environmental compliance, and green building principles into project delivery.
• Support achievement of airport sustainability objectives and ESG commitments.

Operational Readiness & Handover

• Ensure smooth transition from project completion to operational use.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, statutory clearances, and stakeholder approvals.
• Establish asset handover processes and operational readiness plans.
• Support post-occupancy evaluation and performance monitoring.

Asset Enhancement & Modernization

• Drive terminal upgrades, passenger experience improvements, utility upgrades, and operational efficiency projects.
• Support implementation of smart airport technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
• Promote innovation and best practices in airport infrastructure development.
• Ensure alignment with airport expansion and capacity enhancement programs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree in Project Management, Infrastructure Management, MBA, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects in operational airports, metro systems, transportation hubs, healthcare facilities, data centres, or other live operational environments.
• Proven experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders during project execution.
