Job summary

Adani Transmission is seeking a senior compliance leader to establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework for airport infrastructure projects and related business functions.

You will ensure adherence to concessionaire agreements, company policies, and governance mechanisms, while maintaining a central obligation register and coordinating with regulators and authorities. The role requires extensive experience across infrastructure and multi-stakeholder environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Engineering, Management, Commerce, or related discipline.
• MBA (Infrastructure/Business Management) will be an added advantage.
• 12-15 years of experience in compliance, governance, risk management, audit, legal compliance, or regulatory affairs.
• Experience in infrastructure, airport, real estate, construction, utilities, or large-scale project environments preferred.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder compliance requirements across project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance management framework for airport infrastructure projects and associated business functions.
• Ensure compliance of concessionaire agreement, company policies, guidelines, and governance mechanisms aligned with corporate requirements.
• Maintain a centralized compliance obligations register covering all applicable laws, regulations, approvals, licenses, and contractual commitments.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory reports, permits, licenses, and regulatory filings.
• Monitor validity and renewal of licenses, approvals, registrations, and statutory permissions.
• Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders for compliance-related matters.
• Monitor closure of audit observations and compliance gaps.
• Develop mitigation plans and control measures for identified compliance risks.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and compliance across the organization.

• Present compliance status, risk exposure, overdue actions, and trend analysis to management.
• Generate periodic compliance MIS for project leadership and corporate governance reviews.
• Monitor compliance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Promote ethical business conduct and adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
• Conduct compliance awareness sessions and training programs for employees and contractors.
• Support whistleblower mechanisms and compliance investigations where required.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and compliance across the organization.
• Track changes in applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements.
• Update compliance frameworks and processes in response to regulatory changes.
• Benchmark compliance practices against industry best practices.
• Drive digitization and automation of compliance management processes.
