Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations
- Create short content on‑spot to engage and encourage users.
- Start, manage conversations, and engage with the users.
- Answer questions from multiple domains such as program selection, fields of study comparisons, opportunities, immigration, aid, and financing.
- Create engaging content that fuels community engagement rather than just generating views.
- Ensure overall quality of user‑generated content on the platform over time.
- Manage a team: supervise, hire, and lead content creators.
- Discern between engaging and good content.
- Set clear goals and performance benchmarks; ensure deliverables are met daily.
Qualifications & Skills
- BA/MA in Mass Communication, Journalism, English or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in community engagement or user engagement.
- Experience developing or managing content for international studies.
- Proficiency in searching and collating information through online tools, including multimedia content.
- Basic web‑analytics knowledge to identify SEO opportunities and analyze content performance.
- Spoken and written English proficiency.
- Experience on user‑generated online platforms such as Quora or Reddit.
- Experience curating, moderating, or managing user‑generated content on such platforms.
- Ability to track emerging trends and apply them to enhance engagement.
- Experience managing and moderating an online creators community.
- Bonus: writing content related to international studies, work, or immigration.
