Are you someone who is highly creative and passionate about graphic designing and can engage, inform and inspire the audience through various forms of content? If so then you are someone we are looking for, a passionate and energetic graphic designer who would take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into design artifacts that tell a story. This would be a one year full time apprenticeship, you would absorb the functional domain skills, business and market domain knowledge and above all nbyula’s core organizational values, through an immersive, learn-via-building apprenticeship. We would be ecstatic to make you a full time terraformer, if you continue leveling-up throughout your apprenticeship!

Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations

• Bring insight and creative inspiration to all your work by being a visual storyteller to engage the audience at a glance
• Collaborate with different teams, grasp written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication and marketing materials
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
• Storyboard the look and feel of presentations, videos and sites to ensure the right messaging
• Design creatives for digital marketing like social media posts & ad campaigns, blog posts images and infographics
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• We’re open to consider if you’re presently pursuing or have completed B.Des (Bachelor of Design), M.Des (Master of Design), B.Arch, M.Arch, BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts), B.Sc., BE, or a B.Tech degree. If your academics are from a design background then you may specialize in Product Design, Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Interaction Design, Retail Design, Animation, Film and Video, User Experience, Fashion Design, Visual Communication Design, Design Management, Game Design, or Architecture.
• Knowledge of design principles combined with a good understanding of design software
• Demonstrated ability and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to thrive in an environment of change, complexity and fun
• Online portfolio of relevant work samples
• Big brownie points if you possess video editing, illustration & motion design skills
