If so then you are someone we are looking for, a passionate and energetic Community Content Writer. This is a full‑time terraformer position, meaning that you hit the ground running and quickly absorb the functional domain skills, business and market domain knowledge and above all Nbyula’s core organizational values!

Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations

Create

• Answer quests on nbyula.com around topics of international studies and work. Topics can range across domains like program selection, scholarship opportunities, internship opportunities, immigration, aid, study financing and many more
• Create and evolve quest, answer and other guidelines over a period of time
• Leverage keyword research to optimize your content for SEO
• Write copy for video content, email marketing and social media marketing
• Conceptualizing video content that aligns with our vision
• Creating Audio/Visual content for our platform

Moderate

• Moderate the quality of user‑generated content including quests, answers, skylifts contributed by the nbyula.com community

Engage

• Identify and invite apt community members to improve existing answers
• Find creative ways to engage community members around content pieces with an aim to fuel engagement and social interaction

Qualifications & Skills

• Completed BA/MA/MBA/PG Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, English Hons. or related fields
• Ability to contribute well‑researched, fact‑based, well‑articulated & extremely intriguing content for the readers
• Prior understanding of basic web analytics to find content opportunities that could drastically move the needle on the SEO front. Your content writing skills should equally complement an analytical bent of mind to find content opportunities
• Spoken and written English proficiency
• Prior understanding in contributing or moderating user‑generated content or communities on online platforms like Quora, Reddit, etc. is a plus
• Prior understanding in developing content around international studies and work is a plus
• Understanding of virality mechanics that increases the share‑worthiness of your content is a plus
