Job summary

Black Box is seeking an IBMS/ELV Project Engineer to lead end-to-end IBMS projects from design to monitoring. The role covers BMS, CCTV, access control, fire alarms, PA and VMS systems, coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and submittals, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards, supervising site personnel, and conducting testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in IBMS/BMS commissioning.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of BMS software, HVAC, ELV systems, and electrical schematics.
• Networking: Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP, including IP addressing.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, along with good communication for site coordination
• Travel: Travel is involved; willingness to travel across projects and provide Online/Onsite support.
• Certification: Candidate certified in Honeywell/Siemens/Schneider/Easy IO or IBMS certification preferred.

• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Manage issue resolution, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Support project closure activities.
• System Testing & Commissioning: test HVAC, lighting, fire safety, CCTV, access control.
• Integration: integrate third-party subsystems using BACnet and Modbus.
• Field Device Configuration: program DI/DO/AI/AO modules, PLC logic, SCADA/HMI graphics.

• Field Device Configuration: Programming and verifying DI/DO/AI/AO modules, PLC logic, and SCADA/HMI graphics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering.
