Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead BMS/IBMS & ELV system integration and automation.
• Oversee ELV systems like Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, PA and related interfaces.
• Manage HVAC control integration with BMS including chillers and AHUs.
• Review technical drawings, BOQs, specs and vendor submittals for site execution.
• Lead pre-commissioning, testing, and handover with proper documentation.
• Identify and resolve system integration issues; perform RCA when needed.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEMs and vendors for approvals & material availability.
• Ensure quality, safety and compliance with drawings and standards.
• Lead and develop BMS/ELV engineering teams; conduct knowledge sharing.

Role Overview

Lead BMS/IBMS and ELV project execution, system integration, testing and commissioning, ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, quality, safety, client satisfaction and effective team performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. BMS/IBMS System Integration & Automation:
Lead end-to-end integration of BMS/IBMS with HVAC, electrical, fire, security and other building services, including control logic, graphics, dashboards, alarms and monitoring interfaces.
Ensure seamless communication and interoperability between multiple systems and OEM platforms.

2. ELV & Security Systems:
Oversee execution and integration of Fire Alarm, VESDA, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Public Address and other ELV systems.
Ensure system interfaces are tested and functional as per approved design, specifications and project requirements.

3. HVAC Controls & BMS Integration:
Manage BMS integration and control of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, CRAC/PAC, VRF and ventilation systems, ensuring proper monitoring, automation and control sequences.
Review HVAC control requirements and coordinate with mechanical teams, OEMs and vendors for effective system performance.

4. Project Engineering & Execution:
Review technical drawings, control philosophies, BOQs, specifications, method statements and vendor submittals to ensure design intent is translated correctly into site execution.
Drive installation, interface coordination and technical issue resolution across BMS and ELV packages while maintaining project schedules.

5. Testing, Commissioning & Handover:
Lead pre-commissioning, testing and functional performance checks of BMS/ELV systems, including point-to-point checks, sequence validation, alarms, graphics and system interfaces.
Ensure closure of punch points, preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning reports and successful client handover.

6. Technical Troubleshooting & System Performance:
Analyse system abnormalities, breakdowns and integration issues and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
Review daily/weekly/monthly system reports and performance data to improve system reliability, availability, energy efficiency and operational performance.

7. Project Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
Coordinate with clients, consultants, PMC, OEMs, vendors and subcontractors for technical approvals, material availability, interface coordination and issue resolution.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely completion of technical deliverables, testing and commissioning activities.

8. Quality, Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure BMS/ELV works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality requirements and applicable safety standards.
Establish quality checklists, inspection procedures and technical documentation while ensuring proper project records and handover deliverables.

9. Team Leadership & Technical Development:
Lead BMS/ELV engineers, supervisors and site teams, allocate responsibilities and monitor execution performance.
Conduct technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen team capability in system integration, troubleshooting and commissioning.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering with relevant experience in BMS/IBMS and ELV projects.
• Strong experience in BMS/IBMS, ELV, HVAC integration, Fire & Life Safety and Security systems.
• Data center, commercial building, mall or fit-out project experience preferred.
• Experience in project execution, testing & commissioning, client coordination and vendor management.
