Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead installation, testing, and handover of Building Management Systems (BMS) and integrated HVAC controls. You will coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time project execution and system performance.

Responsibilities include configuring controllers and field devices, validating control logic, and providing technical support during and after commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of BMS platforms, HVAC controls, and field instrumentation.
• Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and TCP/IP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

• Integrate HVAC equipment with BMS platforms (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, pumps, ventilation).
• Verify control logic, sequences of operation, and system performance.
• Support optimization of HVAC systems for energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and field devices.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide timely technical support during project execution and post-commissioning phases.
• Conduct functional testing, point-to-point verification, loop checking, and system validation.
• Prepare commissioning protocols and test procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, customers, and service teams.
• Attend project review meetings and provide technical updates.
• Maintain commissioning records, test reports, punch lists, and project documentation.
• Prepare commissioning completion reports and handover documents.
• Ensure all project documentation is updated and archived as per company standards.
• Conduct customer training on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support final project acceptance and handover activities.
• Build strong customer relationships through effective communication and technical expertise.

Educational Qualification
