Job summary

Accor is seeking a kitchen staff member in Bengaluru to ensure daily stocking of the kitchen with fresh materials and to uphold safety and hygiene standards in the food preparation area.

The role requires familiarity with kitchen equipment, adherence to HACCP, participation in trainings, and maintaining professional appearance as part of a hotel team in India.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Relevant Degree

Responsibilities

• Stock up the assigned kitchen with raw materials and ingredients daily.
• Be familiar with the use of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions.
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
• Apply necessary HACCP food safety and hygiene standards.
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Clean and maintain all equipment within the food production area.
• Promptly report hazards, unsafe conditions or equipment needing repair to supervisor.

Job Description

• Be familiar with the use of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions when handling them
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
