  • 4–8 years of B2B conference sponsorship sales experience.
  • Experience in sponsorship/exhibition/media/enterprise technology sales.
  • Proven ability to engage senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership opportunities across assigned territories.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify and engage C-level executives, marketing leaders, cybersecurity professionals, finance leaders, technology decision-makers, and government stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship management.
  • Sell sponsorship packages, exhibition booths, branding opportunities, keynote speaking slots, workshops, networking sessions, and bespoke partnership solutions.
  • Understand client objectives and develop tailored commercial proposals. Conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings, presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Close high-value sponsorship and partnership agreements. Key Account Management.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and strategic partners.
  • Ensure excellent client experience throughout the commercial lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for renewals, upselling, and cross-selling across QNA's global event portfolio.
  • Maintain regular engagement with existing clients to maximize long-term business opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence – monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify new sectors, markets, and prospective sponsors aligned with upcoming events.
  • Develop targeted account lists and commercial strategies for each event. CRM & Commercial Reporting – maintain accurate client records, opportunities, and forecasts within the CRM system.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reports. Track pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – work closely with Conference Production, Marketing, Delegate Acquisition, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery of sponsor commitments.
  • Support the successful execution of events by ensuring all contractual deliverables are fulfilled.

Preferred candidate profile

The Commercials Manager will be responsible for driving sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership revenue across QNA's portfolio of conferences and events in the Middle East and APAC regions. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving revenue targets while contributing to the continued growth of QNA's international event portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B conference sponsorship sales, exhibition sales, media sales, or enterprise technology sales, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers and deliver commercially successful outcomes.

Work Experience

4-8 years of experience in:

B2B Conference Commercials

Sponsorship Sales/ Exhibition Sales / Media Sales/ Enterprise Technology Sales Event Commercials

Experience working with enterprise, government, and technology organizations is highly preferred.

Exposure to Middle East and/or APAC markets will be an added advantage.
