Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Experienced Commercial Project Manager based in Mumbai to drive end-to-end commercial activities for project execution. You will be responsible for achieving financial KPIs, monitoring costs and reporting to management, and establishing robust commercial contracts with customers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end commercial activities for project execution.
• Meet financial KPIs: revenue, profits, cash, and related metrics.
• Prepare timely project reviews and reports to local and global management.
• Establish commercial and legal contract terms with customers, partners and subcontractors.
• Identify opportunities and risks; implement mitigation or opportunity measures with PM support.
• Monitor costs, risks, invoicing, accruals, hedging, insurance, taxation and project reporting.
• Support pre-sales and bidding activities when opportunities arise.

• Responsible for end-to-end commercial activities relating to the execution of the project.
• Achieving all the Financial KPIs in line with the Budget and Forecast such as Revenue, Profits, Cash and other financial aspects relating to the projects would be of utmost priority.
• Project review and timely reporting both to SI local management and global management would be a part of the role.
• Establishing the commercial and legal contract conditions with both customers and consortium partners and sub-contractors.
• Identification and financial evaluation of opportunities and risks, definition and implementation of appropriate measures for mitigating risks or exploring opportunities as well as establishment of reserves for remaining risks with the support of the PM.
• Monitoring, controlling and updating of project costs, risks, billings, invoicing, accruals, provisions, hedging, bank guarantees, insurance, taxation and project report.
• Proactively set up an efficient contract and claim management in the project.
• You may also get opportunities for sales commercial activities during the pre-sales, bidding phase of some of the opportunities.

Requirements

• You are an Experienced Commercial Project Manager and has hands-on experience of 5-10 years in commercial operations/as CPM with MBA/ CA/ ICWA / CA Inter.
• You have great communication skills, love to work in teams and best at collaboration.
• The role is based out of Mumbai Location.
