Responsibilities

Introduction:

This a mid-level role within the Commercial Operations team is designed to build foundational skills in account management and sales support. The successful candidate will gain experience managing multiple sales activities while supporting Client Development Directors, enabling the sales team to focus on client engagement and business growth. In addition, this role will partner closely with Operations, Project Management, and Finance throughout the sales process to ensure all required documentation, approvals, and supporting materials are accurate and complete.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote, sell and secure orders from existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare documents such as price quotes, terms of the sale, delivery dates and service obligations
  • Keep abreast of products, applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
  • Provide management with written and oral reports on client needs, problems, interests, market situation, competitive activities and potential new products and services.
  • Submit periodic reports detailing activity and sales volume.
  • Continually monitor project progress and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Maintain project files, including complete documentation and audit trail.
  • Maintain strong relationship with the client during the entire project process, reporting regularly to the client on their deliverables to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct follow‑up calls to all your clients to ensure satisfaction with all agreements reached during the sales process.
  • Will handle special projects as determined by the manager. This activity is required to be promoted to the next level within this job family.
  • Assist in the training of new hires within the sales and support teams.
Your Profile:
  • Successful completion of college level training in the areas of market research. A college degree is preferred.
  • Must be computer literate – proficient in excel.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be detail oriented, flexible and resourceful.
  • Must adhere to the highest level of customer satisfaction standards in the industry.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Sales minded individual with 3-5+ years inside sales or customer service experience.
  • Market research industry experience a plus.
