Job summary

WerklyConsulting is seeking a CNC Production Incharge with 10 years of experience in automobile component manufacturing. You will lead CNC turning and VMC operations, optimize cycle times, and ensure adherence to IATF standards while focusing on COPQ/QRQC improvements.

Role emphasizes SOPs, shop-floor control, tooling selection, fixture design, and production planning to drive productivity and cost reductions across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical fields with 10 years in auto component manufacturing.
• Hands-on programming and setting of CNC Turning Centers and VMC with 4/5-axis machining.
• Experience with Fanuc controllers and turn-mill centers.
• Strong shop floor control and problem-solving skills.
• Cycle time estimation and takt time-based productivity improvements.
• Production planning and manpower planning experience.
• IATF requirements knowledge with PQCDSM analysis.
• Cost focus on COPQ and QRQC, consumables management.
• Shift-wise and daily/weekly/monthly production monitoring.

Key Skills

• Job Description - CNC Production Incharge:
• B.E Mechanical or Automobile or Production or Diploma in Mechanical with 10 years of experience in Automobile Component manufacturing industry, through CNC turning machining processes.
• 1. Hands on experience in programming & setting of CNC Turning Centers, VMC with Four Axis / 5-axis machining and Turn mill centers using Fanuc controller.
• 2. Sound knowledge in Shop floor control & problem solving, Cutting Tools selection and prove-out, Fixture design and prove-out, Machine layout planning
• 3. Good in Preparation of SOP, Daily monitoring charts, Process Rejection analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• 4. Estimate the Cycle time and reduction based on Tact time and productivity improvement.
• 5. Production planning and adherence. Manpower planning and reduction.
• 6. Focus on IATF requirements. Analysis and action plan for PQCDSM.
• 7. Focus on COPQ and QRQC.
• 8. Consumables cost planning and reduction.
• 9. Monitoring the production shift wise, day wise, weekly wise and monthly.
