Job summary

TASK B FORCE in Coimbatore invites an experienced CNC Setter to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure dimensional accuracy using calipers and micrometers.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years’ experience and an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering, with strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures. Experience with valve or precision components is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as CNC Setter.
• ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proficient in CNC machine setup and operation.
• Familiarity with reading drawings and using measuring instruments.
• Experience in quality control and dimensional inspection.
• Ability to read process sheets and work instructions.
• Basic maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting for minor issues.

ITI / Diploma / B.E. - preferably Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

Technical Skills

• Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling, with experience in CNC machine setup and operation.
• Proficiency in Machining process, including interpreting technical drawings and using measuring instruments.
• Experience in Quality Control, including dimensional inspection, tolerance checks, and documentation of results.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting for minor mechanical issues.
• Attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in valve or precision component manufacturing is an advantage.
• Relevant technical qualification or ITI or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
