Key Responsibilities

• Program Development: Create and optimize 2‑axis to multi‑axis CNC programs for lathes and turning centers using Mastercam software.
• G‑code/M‑code Optimization: Write, edit, and troubleshoot G‑code and M‑code directly on Fanuc controllers to ensure efficient toolpaths.
• Blueprint Analysis: Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T to determine the best machining strategy.
• Process Setup: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for various materials such as steel, aluminum, or titanium.
• Prove‑outs & Quality Control: Perform first‑article inspections and program prove‑outs at the machine, adjusting tool offsets and work offsets as needed for dimensional accuracy.
• Process Improvement: Analyze cycle times and tool wear to reduce scrap and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Training & Support: Mentor CNC operators and setters on new program setups and safety procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in CNC turning and Mastercam programming.
• Expert‑level knowledge of Fanuc control panels and manual G‑code editing.
• Strong proficiency with Mastercam (Lathe/Mill‑Turn modules); familiarity with SolidWorks is often a plus.
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, dial gauges, and height gauges.
• A Diploma, ITI, or B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is generally required.
• Full‑time, Permanent position.

Compensation

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month.

Location

Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Reliably commute or relocate before starting work is preferred).
