Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and materials.
• Plan machining operations to meet specifications and optimize productivity.
• Ensure safety, quality compliance and proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Study work orders, engineering drawings, blueprints, and materials to plan machining operations.
• Set up CNC/VMC machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and attachments including 3-jaw/4-jaw chucks.
• Load raw materials and components using hoisting/lifting devices when required.
• Verify machine settings by measuring first-off components and sample workpieces.
• Operate CNC/VMC machines to perform turning, milling, drilling, grooving, tapping, facing, and threading operations.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy, dimensional tolerance, and consistent output quality.
• Make offsets and adjustments in tool positions, cutting parameters, feeds, and speeds as necessary.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.
• Maintain accurate production reports, tool logs, and quality documentation.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance of machines and ensure proper housekeeping of the work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols, PPE usage, and company quality standards during all operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and maintain continuity across shift changes.
