Job summary

Live Connections in Tamil Nadu is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines in a manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, read drawings, calibrate and commission CNC equipment, and coordinate with production to reduce downtime while adhering to TPM and safety standards.

ITI/Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical is preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/BE/B.Tech in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work on CNC maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in CNC equipment.
• Diagnose issues in motors, drives, sensors, control panels and CNC systems.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication and coolant systems.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Handle installation, commissioning, calibration and maintenance of CNC machines.
• Identify root causes of machine failures and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production teams to reduce machine downtime.
• Maintain proper maintenance records and reports.
• Follow safety procedures and TPM practices.
