Job summary

EY seeks a Technology Lead – IdentityNow to guide a global IAM operations team delivering IdentityNow SaaS solutions. You will own onboarding, L2/L3 support, backlog grooming, and coordination with product and engineering across onsite/offshore delivery models.

You will mentor engineers, manage risk, and ensure high‑quality implementation of IdentityNow integrations with Java, LDAP and other IAM components, while maintaining SDLC discipline and customer focus.

Role: Technology Lead – IdentityNow

Job Summary: The IdentityNow Security Senior Analyst role will be primarily responsible for leading a support team that delivers and supports software that are critical pieces of the IdentityNow SaaS solution. Responsibilities include daily operations support, enhancements, and review of the Identity Management application and underlying infrastructure, adhering to stated SLAs and ensuring high standards of quality in project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Have experience on IdentityNow SaaS solution L2/L3 support.
• Be responsible for application onboarding.
• Facilitate project activities by managing risk and issue mitigations, establishing project schedule, and managing change controls.
• Partner with Product Management to ensure clear tactical and strategic backlogs.
• Balance competing priorities to ship new features while resolving defects and managing technical debt.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and motivate high‑performing engineers.
• Proactively listen and seek alignment with other engineering teams and stakeholders, building strong relationships and insisting on high‑quality solutions.
• Have deep knowledge of SaaS products, agile processes (preferably Scrum), workflows, and experience implementing them.
• Possess technical experience and fluency at the product, solution, and architecture level, enabling easy discussions with engineers.
• Be an exceptional mentor and leader passionate about continuous improvement.
• Have experience in implementing or supporting at least two IAM engagements, including application support (IdentityNow / other IAM).
• Be familiar with technologies such as Java, LDAP, RDBMS, and Linux.
• Have good knowledge of web/application servers (IIS, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, and Apache).
• Have experience in developing configuration of standard custom IAM integrations using Java or other major scripting languages.
• Have experience with hands‑on development, estimations, sizing, and custom IAM integrations.
• Possess advanced documentation and presentation skills and be well‑versed with SDLC process.
• Have exposure to process frameworks and methodologies.
• Have experience interacting with clients, including working with client teams in an onsite and offshore delivery model.
• Automate manual tasks performed by the administration team.
• Customize, configure, and develop IdentityNow solution integrations based on requirements and design, and independently manage project deliverables to successful completion.
• Troubleshoot IdentityNow issues.

Education

• Bachelor or college degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience

• 5–10 years of experience.

Skills Expertise

• IdentityNow managed support experience and application onboarding.
• Knowledge of Java, scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and technical document writing.
• Exposure to global security standards such as PCI, SOX, HIPAA.
• Prior experience working in remote teams on a global scale.
• Customer‑orientation skills.

Certification

• SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer (good to have).
