Job summary

BFSI connect in Vadodara seeks a Cluster (Branch) Technical Manager to oversee property assessment and valuation, due diligence, and on-ground feasibility for secured lending under Affordable Housing. You will ensure accuracy, comply with policies, and support credit and sales teams to speed disbursement, while coordinating with legal, vendors, and site inspectors.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience and BE in Civil Engineering, with readiness to travel locally for site visits.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Civil Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in technical property evaluation for home loans.
• Knowledge of construction norms, municipal by-laws, and valuation principles.
• Experience in affordable housing segment is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent property inspections, ensuring construction stage validation and physical verification.
• Perform valuation of properties for lending purposes—self-constructed, builder purchase, resale, etc.
• Check legal clearances in coordination with the legal team—maps, approvals, and local body sanctions.
• Raise and resolve technical red flags before case approval.
• Coordinate with sales and credit teams for site visits and faster TAT.
• Maintain MIS and reports on valuation, deviations, and approvals.
• Ensure technical policy compliance across all property types in the branch.
• Empanel and manage external valuers and technical vendors as needed.
