Job summary

BFSI connect invites applications for a Branch Technical Manager to oversee property assessment, valuation and due diligence for secured lending in the Affordable Housing segment in Ankleshwar. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and faster disbursement by supporting credit and sales teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, has 2+ years in technical property evaluation for home loans, and is familiar with construction norms, local bylaws and valuation principles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in technical property evaluation for home loans
• In-depth knowledge of construction norms, municipal by-laws, and valuation principles
• Experience in affordable housing segment is highly preferred
• Willingness to travel locally for site visits
• Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.)

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent property inspections, ensuring construction stage validation and physical verification
• Perform valuation of properties for lending purposes—self-constructed, builder purchase, resale, etc.
• Check legal clearances in coordination with the legal team—maps, approvals, and local body sanctions
• Raise and resolve technical red flags before case approval
• Coordinate with sales and credit teams for site visits and faster TAT
• Maintain MIS and reports on valuation, deviations, and approvals
• Ensure technical policy compliance across all property types in the branch
• Empanel and manage external valuers and technical vendors as needed
