BASICS Menswear Apparel in Kochi is seeking a Territory Manager to oversee end-to-end sales and operations for the Large Format Outlet channel across Kerala. The role requires driving revenue, managing distributors, and optimizing supply chain performance from the Kochi region.

You will lead trade promotions, roll out schemes, monitor budgets, and publish regular scorecards to management. Travel across Kerala is expected to build market presence and expand the distributor network.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in large format retail.
• Apparel background preferred.
• Willing to travel.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Job description

The Territory Manager for our Large Format Outlet channel is accountable for managing end-to-end sales & operations of BASICS Menswear Apparel in Kochi Region, Kerala.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the business in Kerala across all performance metrics against the business target on a monthly/quarterly and yearly basis.
• Plan, execute and achieve the budgeted sales targets as per the business plan.
• Ensure sales targets are met and will be responsible for the collections of the sales made.
• Implement sales promotion activities and roll out trade specific schemes.
• Publish reports outlining all sales activity and communicate to management, via daily, weekly and monthly scorecards.
• Develop market intelligence and expansion of distribution network and online channels.
• Explore new markets and expand the distributor infrastructure and appoint new partners in untapped markets.
• Develop & optimize marketing efforts tied in with growth and sales targets.
• Providing support and guidance pertaining to operations and administration to the staffs.
• Develop and sustain the existing network and effectively manage the supply chain.
• Effective control & minimizing the leakages and damages.
• Ensure compliance with organization and government policies and procedures.
• Ensure the team development plans are documented and leadership development plans are in place for high performers.

Skills and experience required:

• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in large format retail channel.
• Should be from an apparel background.
• Should be willing to travel.
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets. Demonstrated expertise leading operations, and managing and improving profit & market share.
• High on work ethics & result orientation.
