Job summary

PTC is hiring for a Cloud Technical Track role focused on delivering cloud-based PTC solutions. The candidate will work on installing, configuring, and upgrading PTC applications along with supported third-party software.

Strong cloud provider knowledge and LDAP/SSO setup experience are essential. The role requires 2-4 years of experience and will involve working with tools like COGNOS, Solid Works, Intellicus, and Kettle.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in cloud delivery or related roles.
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with LDAP and single sign-on configurations.

Responsibilities

• Install / Deploy PTC Application Software and supported 3rd party components.
• Configure / Maintain PTC applications and 3rd party integrations to optimize performance.
• Execute upgrade procedures using standard PTC upgrade tools.
• Develop knowledge of major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google).

The Cloud Technical Track is responsible to execute the technical deliverables of the PTC Cloud delivery functions and create innovation for the PTC Cloud Portfolio Solutions. Members of the Cloud Technical Track combine strong PTC product knowledge and Public Cloud expertise and security standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Experience Required : 2-4 years.

Roles & Responsibilities

Install / Deploy

Resolves issues independently and demonstrates ability to install PTC Application Software and its supporting approved 3rd Party Software (for example COGNOS, Solid Works, Intellicus, Kettle etc.) Exhibits independence and though leadership when installing customer change packages. Validates the compatibility of PTC Application and its supporting 3rd Party Software.

Configure/Maintain

Exhibits independence in the resolution of issues and makes decisions pertaining to the configuration of PTC Applications and its supporting 3rd party software to optimize performance by exhibiting independence for resolution of issues and proactively making configuration changes. Obtains experience from on the job training and shadowing to rehost or refresh environments (data and application configuration) from target to source environments. Learns how to setup and configure LDAP and SSO.

Upgrade

Exhibits independence in resolution of issues and makes decisions pertaining to the execution of documented upgrade procedures for PTC applications using PTC upgrade tools. Exhibits independence in the resolution of issues and make decisions around the execution plan to remediate issues encountered during upgrades.

Cloud Experience

Acquires knowledge of major public Cloud provider capabilities (AWS, Azure, Google).
