Job summary

PTC in Gurugram, India seeks a Cloud/Applications administrator with Windchill PDMLink expertise to manage cloud deliveries and patching. You will support Docker containers, Kubernetes clusters, and SSL certification for production, non-production, and development environments.

Preferred candidates have 0–2 years Windchill/Linux experience and familiarity with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS). This role emphasizes problem-solving, customer communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit independence and thought leadership when installing customer change packages.
• Validate the compatibility of PTC Applications and its 3rd Party Software.
• Define the optimal procedures to install or deploy PTC Applications and its 3rd Party Software.
• Independently resolve issues and adjust configurations for performance.
• Coordinate with Infra to update OS patches and validate changes.
• Troubleshoot SSL-related issues and manage certificates.
• Install and configure certificates on Apache, Tomcat, and web servers.
• Manage Docker containers and containerized apps across environments.
• Perform Kubernetes cluster administration, deployments, and health checks.
• Monitor pods, nodes, services, deployments, and application availability.

Your Team

• You will be part of team responsible for executing the technical deliverables of the PTC Cloud delivery functions and create innovation for the PTC Cloud Portfolio Solutions
• You will be part of application maintenance team, work on OS patching with Infra and DB upgrade, SSL certificate renewal, installation of some mandatory patch.
• Members of the Cloud Technical Track combine strong PTC product knowledge and Public Cloud expertise and security standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• This team based in Gurgaon works closely with cross-functional group of professionals across the globe.

Day to Day activities.

• Exhibit independence and though leadership when installing customer change packages.
• Validate the compatibility of PTC Application and its supporting 3rd Party Software
• Define the optimal procedure to install or deploy PTC Applications and its supporting 3rd Party Software.
• Independently resolve issues and makes decisions pertaining to the configuration of PTC Applications and its supporting 3rd party software to optimize performance by exhibiting independence for resolution of issues and proactively making configuration changes.
• Ability to work with Infra to get the OS patch updated and perform the validation steps with high accuracy.
• Troubleshoot SSL-related issues such as certificate mismatch, expired certificates, incomplete certificate chains, and TLS configuration problems.
• Install and configure certificates on Apache, Tomcat, web servers, load balancers, and other application components.
• Manage and support Docker containers and containerized applications across development, non-production, and production environments.
• Perform Kubernetes cluster administration, including deployments, upgrades, configuration, health checks, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor pods, nodes, services, deployments, and application availability.

Preferred Experience

• 0-2 years of hands‑on experience with Windchill PLM, Linux and Cloud Providers.
• Familiarity with at least one of the major Cloud providers technology stack (Azure, AWS ).
