Job summary

PTC Inc in Gurgaon is seeking a Cloud Services Operations Engineer, Associate-3 to join the Cloud Delivery team. You will execute technical deliverables, patch OS and upgrade DBs, renew SSL certificates and deploy PTC applications with supporting third-party software.

You will manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters across development, non-production, and production environments, monitor health and ensure high availability, while collaborating with global teams and communicating

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of hands-on experience with Windchill PLM, Linux and Cloud Providers.
• Familiarity with at least one of the major Cloud providers technology stack (Azure, AWS).
• Strong Linux command line and scripting skills.
• DB knowledge: Oracle and MSSQL.
• Java, JavaScript and Apache basics.
• Experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow ticketing systems.
• Understanding of Cloud and Support stack.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical deliverables for PTC Cloud delivery.
• Maintain OS patches, DB upgrades, and SSL renewal processes.
• Install and configure PTC Applications and third-party software.
• Manage Docker containers across development, non-production, and production environments.

Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow – all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible.**Your Team*** You will be part of team responsible for executing the technical deliverables of the PTC Cloud delivery functions and create innovation for the PTC Cloud Portfolio Solutions* You will be part of application maintenance team, work on OS patching with Infra and DB upgrade, SSL certificate renewal, installation of some mandatory patch.* Members of the Cloud Technical Track combine strong PTC product knowledge and Public Cloud expertise and security standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.* This team based in Gurgaon works closely with cross-functional group of professionals across the globe.**Day to Day activities.*** Exhibit independence and though leadership when installing customer change packages.* Validate the compatibility of PTC Application and its supporting 3rd Party Software* Define the optimal procedure to install or deploy PTC Applications and its supporting 3rd Party Software.* Independently resolve issues and makes decisions pertaining to the configuration of PTC Applications and its supporting 3rd party software to optimize performance by exhibiting independence for resolution of issues and proactively making configuration changes.* Ability to work with Infra to get the OS patch updated and perform the validation steps with high accuracy.* Troubleshoot SSL-related issues such as certificate mismatch, expired certificates, incomplete certificate chains, and TLS configuration problems.* Install and configure certificates on Apache, Tomcat, web servers, load balancers, and other application components.* Manage and support Docker containers and containerized applications across development, non-production, and production environments.* Perform Kubernetes cluster administration, including deployments, upgrades, configuration, health checks, and troubleshooting.* Monitor pods, nodes, services, deployments, and application availability.**Preferred Experience:*** 0-2 years of hands-on experience with Windchill PLM, Linux and Cloud Providers.* Familiarity with at least one of the major Cloud providers technology stack (Azure, AWS ).**Must have skills**Administration skills in Windchill PDMLink* Windchill CAD Data management and visualization* Advance command line Linux and scripting Skills* DB ,Oracle and MSSQL knowledge* Java, JS & Basic Apache* Awareness/Experience using a Ticketing System like Salesforce or Service Now* Understanding of Cloud and Support stack* Strong, proven diagnostic and Troubleshooting Skills* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, in particular with the customer.* Excellent Communication Skills; Verbal and WrittenLife at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
