Job summary

Ionos Networks is seeking a seasoned Cloud Ops Engineer to join our Bengaluru team. The role emphasizes automation with Python on Linux, and hands-on work across public clouds such as GCP and AWS.

You will engage in network debugging, container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes, and robust observability using ELK, Grafana, Influx, and Kafka. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of demonstrated infra and cloud operations experience, and a solid foundation in TCP/IP, TLS/PKI security, and WAN

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cloud/infra operations.
• Hands-on with Linux systems in production environments.
• Experience with public cloud providers (GCP, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on Linux.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of distributed services.
• Collaborate with security and SRE teams to maintain reliability and security.

Ionos is seeking experienced Cloud Ops Engineer with expertise in the following areas.

Engineers with 6+ years of proven track record in some combination of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• Automation experience with python on Linux environment
• Experience with public cloud providers such as GCP, AWS
• Experience with of L4-L7 network application debugging on Linux (tcpdump, sysdig, cadvisor etc).
• Experience with frameworks such as ELK, Grafana, Influx, Kafka etc.
• Experience with TCP/IP, Routing, VPN and WAN technologies.
• Exposure to security technologies e.g. TLS, PKI, SSL, AES
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other container tech.
