Job summary

JobTwine Inc. is hiring a Cloud Engineer to design, build and run cloud infrastructure that powers our platform.

You will own deployment pipelines, reliability, cost and security at the infrastructure level while collaborating with backend engineers to ensure smooth releases and stable production. You will design, provision and maintain cloud resources, build CI/CD pipelines, manage containers and deployments, and implement monitoring, security and DR strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route 53). Other major clouds are a plus.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or a similar infrastructure as code tool.
• Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or ECS.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar).
• Good understanding of Linux, networking, TLS and DNS.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog or similar).
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar.
• Clear communication and a habit of writing things down.

Responsibilities

• Manage secrets, IAM roles, network policies and access controls, and support security and compliance reviews.
• Track cloud spend, find waste, and right-size resources.
• Manage domains, DNS, certificates, load balancers and CDN configuration.
• Support engineers with environment setup, debugging deployments, and performance tuning.
• Document runbooks and infrastructure decisions.
