Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Proficient in AWS production infrastructure and services.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Ability to monitor apps, optimize costs, and troubleshoot outages.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS resources including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB.
• Write and maintain IaC provisioning scripts (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Docker/Kubernetes workloads (or AWS ECS/Fargate).
• Implement IAM, security groups, encryption, and patching routines.
• Monitor health and cost using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or Prometheus.

Role- Cloud Engineer

Experience – 3 to 4 years
Location- Pune

What’s the role?

The Cloud Engineer will support all aspects of production cloud-based infrastructure, including application support, maintenance and deployment, and the ability to make informed decisions based on analysis and data. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and develop, has good all-round communication skills and if customer focused.

What will you do?

• Support production applications and infrastructure on Amazon Web Services
• Action customer requests in accordance with agreed service levels
• Respond to service outages and issues in a timely fashion
• Provide solutions to fix repetitive issues
• Work closely with developing and engineering teams to deploy software
• Maintain and update documentation for working process

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Provisioning & Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS resources including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Write and maintain automated provisioning scripts using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• CI/CD & Automation: Build, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for cloud applications.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (or AWS ECS/Fargate).
• Security & Compliance: Implement IAM policies, security groups, network ACLs, encryption standards, and regular patching routines.
• Monitoring & Cost Optimization: Track system health, logs, and performance metrics using Amazon CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or Prometheus, while optimizing cloud spend (instance sizing, cleanup of unused volumes/snapshots).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve production incidents, network bottlenecks, and high-latency or auto-scaling issues.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• DevOps Tools: Experience with Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Operating Systems: Solid working knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
• Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / DevOps Engineer – Associate
