Job summary

Newgen Software Technologies Ltd. in Noida is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost efficiency for customer deployments.

The role focuses on IaC with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, monitoring of environments, and automation. You will work with Product Engineering, Delivery, Solutioning, and Database teams to optimize deployments and support 24x7 cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of cloud infra experience on AWS/Azure.
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong networking and security basics for cloud.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Sr. Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms. The role involves ensuring cloud environments are secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient while supporting Newgen's managed cloud solutions and customer deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Delivery, Solutioning, and Database teams for optimized cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
• Manage infrastructure upgrades, patching, and system configurations.
• Track and ensure SLA adherence for customer support tickets.
• Participate in 24x7 cloud operations and support activities.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
