Job summary

Happiestminds Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced DevOps engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. You will build CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.

Collaborating with development, security, and SRE teams, you will optimize reliability, performance, and observability using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps expertise with AWS and Azure.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline design and implementation experience.
• Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or IaC tools.
• Solid scripting skills in Python/Bash.
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and administer AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EBS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, ELB/ALB, and CloudFormation.
• Manage Azure services including Storage Accounts, Azure AD, Key Vault, VMs, ACR, and AKS.
• Design and implement Azure networking and security architectures, including VNet, Hub-and-Spoke, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, WAF, NSGs, and IP/Port whitelisting.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, configuration management, and operational processes using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or equivalent IaC tools.
• Implement and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters, including AWS EKS and Azure AKS.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or equivalent tools.
• Integrate security and quality tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, TFScan, or equivalent solutions into CI/CD workflows.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure and deployment processes follow DevOps, security, compliance, and release-management best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, security, and application-related issues across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, architecture, and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery and production deployments.
• Continuously evaluate and implement improvements in cloud infrastructure, automation, reliability, scalability, security, and deployment processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 58 years of hands-on DevOps experience with strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong practical experience in AWS infrastructure and services, particularly EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFront, EKS/ECS, ELB/ALB, and CloudFormation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, including AKS, ACR, VMs, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Azure AD, and Azure networking.
• Good understanding of Azure networking and security, including VNet, Hub-and-Spoke architecture, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, WAF, NSGs, and IP/Port whitelisting.
• Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps YAML.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, with exposure to CloudFormation, Azure Bicep, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, preferably with production experience in both EKS and AKS.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Good understanding of DevSecOps practices and experience integrating tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, TFScan, or equivalent security tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, deployment automation, release management, and DevOps best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
• AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or CKA/CKAD would be an added advantage.
