Job summary

Sunovaa Tech is seeking a seasoned Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and data platforms in Pune. You will implement IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu, build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab/GitHub, and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will work on ETL/ELT data workflows, data modeling, and REST APIs, collaborating with engineering and data teams to enable cloud automation and secure IT operations.

Qualifications

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in Terraform/OpenTofu and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, SQL, and Snowflake.
• REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.
• Knowledge of networking and IT security fundamentals.
• AWS certification is an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/SE/IT/Data Eng or related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 46 years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Terraform/OpenTofu and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Practical experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, SQL, databases, and data integration.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar modern data platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, backend development, and cloud-native architecture.
• Good knowledge of networking and IT security fundamentals.
• AWS certification is an added advantage.
