Job summary

Iris Software is seeking a skilled Cloud SRE/Cloud Engineer to own and operate AWS-based solutions, focusing on serverless designs, cost optimization, and secure multi-account environments.

Qualifications

• Expertise in AWS CDK and core AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, Route 53, EMR).
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven design (SNS, SQS).
• Proficient in cloud provisioning tools Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with cost optimization strategies in AWS.
• Experience in a Cloud SRE role.
• Knowledge of multi-account AWS setup and security best practices (IAM, VPC).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on implementation of AWS-based cloud solutions.
• Design and operate serverless architectures with event-driven patterns (SNS/SQS).
• Manage multi-account AWS environments and enforce security best practices (IAM, VPC).
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Optimize AWS costs and performance for enterprise workloads.
• Collaborate as part of Cloud SRE to ensure reliability and scalability.

Job Description

• Expertise in AWS CDK, Services (Lambda, ECS, S3, Route 53, EMR etc),PostgreSQL DB management.
• Strong understanding serverless architecture and event-driven design (SNS, SQS).
• Proficient in on of Cloud DB Redshift/Postgres/Aurora
• Knowledge of multi-account AWS Setup’s and Security best practices (IAM, VPC, etc.)
• Proficient in cloud provisioning tools Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience in cost optimization strategies in AWS.
• Should have functioned in a Cloud SRE role
