Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to lead architecture and design across enterprise applications.

You will define technical roadmaps, standards, and patterns, while driving Generative AI adoption and cloud-native solutions with security and scalability in mind. The role requires hands-on architecture experience, strong stakeholder communication, and a track record in delivering AI-enabled, scalable enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise architecture and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI governance.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for enterprise applications across the SDLC; define solution architecture, roadmaps, patterns and standards.
• Drive adoption of Generative AI solutions including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and AI Governance; translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP with focus on security, scalability, and performance; ensure SDLC, DevOps, quality gates, risk management and compliance.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments; mentor development teams and provide architectural guidance.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for enterprise applications across the SDLC.Define solution architecture, technical roadmaps, design patterns, and development standards.
• Drive adoption of Generative AI solutions including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and AI Governance frameworks.Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, DevOps practices, quality gates, risk management, and compliance standards.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.Mentor development teams and provide architectural guidance throughout project delivery.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, DevOps).
• Hands-on experience in Application Architecture and Solution Design.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, and AI Governance. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software quality, security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale AI-enabled applications.
• Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI, and data security frameworks.
• Certifications in Cloud Architecture, TOGAF, Azure AI, AWS AI, or related technologies.
