Job description

About Advanced Telemed

Advanced Telemed is a teleradiology company providing subspecialty radiology interpretation to hospitals, imaging centers, and emergency departments across the United States. Our radiologists read studies around the clock, and our operations team makes sure every result reaches the right clinician at the right time.

The Role

We are hiring a Clinical Coordinator with a nursing background to manage critical results communication between our radiologists and the ordering physicians at our US client facilities.

When one of our radiologists identifies a critical or urgent finding, you are the person who ensures it reaches the ordering physician quickly, accurately, and with a clean documentation trail. You will spend your shift on calls with US emergency physicians, hospitalists, and nursing supervisors coordinating, escalating, and documenting.

This is a clinical coordination role, not a bedside or clinical decision‑making role. You will not assess patients, provide clinical advice, or exercise independent clinical judgment. You relay findings exactly as documented by the interpreting radiologist, and you connect the provider directly to that radiologist whenever a clinical question arises.

This role suits a nurse who wants to move out of hospital duty into a structured corporate role while still using their clinical knowledge every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the worklist for critical, urgent, and discrepant findings flagged by our radiologists
  • Call US ordering providers and facility staff to communicate findings as documented in the radiology report
  • Connect the interpreting radiologist directly to the ordering provider when clinical discussion is required
  • Document every communication attempt and completed contact per protocol, including time, method, and recipient
  • Escalate unreachable providers through defined facility escalation pathways until closure is confirmed
  • Track turnaround time and communication compliance against client service level agreements
  • Act as the operational point of contact for client facilities during your shift
  • Support quality audits of communication documentation and flag process gaps
  • Coordinate shift handover with the counterpart operations team

What This Role Does Not Involve
  • Bedside or hands‑on patient care
  • Independent clinical assessment, triage, or medical advice
  • Interpretation of imaging studies
  • Sales, collections, or general customer service
  • Rotational shifts your schedule is fixed

Candidate Profile
Required
  • B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or GNM with valid State Nursing Council registration
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in Casualty / Emergency, ICU, or a comparable acute care unit
  • Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent you will speak with US physicians every shift
  • Confident phone presence: able to reach a busy physician mid‑shift, deliver information concisely, and hold your ground when interrupted
  • Strong documentation discipline and comfort working within defined protocols
  • Willing to work the US night shift on a permanent basis

Preferred
  • Prior experience in a US healthcare process – clinical coordination, care management, utilization review, RCM with clinical exposure, or medical scribing
  • Familiarity with radiology workflow, PACS/RIS systems, or imaging terminology
  • Experience in an international voice process

What We Offer
  • Fixed hours - 9A-6P with 5 days onsite and one day working remotely
  • Structured training on US radiology workflow and critical results protocols
  • Career path into operations and quality leadership as the team grows
