World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Client Technical Advisor in India to serve as the senior technical voice for strategic clients. The role requires broad data centre know-how, strong executive engagement, and the ability to translate technology into business outcomes.

You’ll drive executive briefings, architecture discussions, and RFP responses, while collaborating with global teams. Travel of 3–4 times per week is expected for onsite client engagements.

Qualifications

• 18+ years in pre-sales, consulting, advisory, solution design or technology leadership, mostly in customer-facing roles.
• Broad data centre expertise across servers, storage, networking and related infrastructure.
• AI understanding in agentic AI, AI infrastructure or both.
• Proven record with senior business and technical stakeholders: running workshops, building long-term relationships and challenging constructively.
• Experience advising clients in at least two sectors, such as manufacturing, banking, financial services or pharmaceuticals.
• Business acumen to turn technology into outcomes, including helping shape large transformation programs or RFP responses.
• Willingness to travel to client site 3-4 times per week.

• Collaborate with account managers, solution consultants and global specialist teams as an extension of US Advisory.

Job Summary:

As a Client Technical Advisor at World Wide Technology (WWT), you’ll be the senior technical voice for three to five strategic clients. You’ll need the breadth to see the whole data centre and into the business, the depth to earn the trust of architects, and the business sense to engage CIOs and business leaders on the outcomes that matter to them.

Responsibilities:

• Own the technical relationship with your accounts, starting with their business priorities and pain points.
• Run executive briefings, workshops and senior-level solution discussions on data centre transformation and AI.
• Show clients the value to IT Transformation and how technology changes the data centre, from compute, storage and networking to power and cooling – All driving business change.
• Explain AI and its business value in plain language, such as what agentic AI could mean for a manufacturer.
• Lead the technical story on major transformation programs, RFPs and large opportunities.
• Build trust with technical and business leaders, and challenge their thinking when it matters.
• Work as one team with account managers, solution consultants and WWT’s global specialist teams, as a direct extension of our US Advisory practice.

Qualifications:

• 18+ years in pre-sales, consulting, advisory, solution design or technology leadership, mostly in customer-facing roles.
• Broad data centre expertise across servers, storage, networking and related infrastructure, with real depth in more than one area. You’re a strong generalist, not a single-domain specialist.
• AI understanding in agentic AI, AI infrastructure or both (both preferred). You can explain concepts like agentic AI and MCP (Model Context Protocol) to a business audience. You don’t need to write code.
• A proven record with senior business and technical stakeholders: running workshops, building long-term relationships and challenging constructively.
• Experience advising clients in at least two sectors, such as manufacturing, banking, financial services or pharmaceuticals.
• Business acumen to turn technology into outcomes, including helping shape large transformation programs or RFP responses.
• A self-starter who works independently and does well in global teams; has creative thinking when it come positioning solutions with clients.
• Willingness to travel to client site 3-4 times per week.
• Engage key OEMs (Dell, Cisco, NetApp, NVIDIA, F5, Palo Alto, Arista) for solution selling and technical depth in core datacentre.
• Bring best-of-breed solutions to focus clients and drive outcomes through continuous engagement.
• Preferred: industry voice (speaker or author), certifications (TOGAF, CCIE, CCDE, cloud architect, NVIDIA), and an engineering or CS degree.
