Elevate is hiring a Senior Associate for Client Account Services in Delhi. The role demands 3–6 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and effective communication with clients and a U.S.-based team.

The position follows a hybrid work model with tax, payroll, and financial statement preparation responsibilities across multiple entities. You will work closely with clients and a U.S.-based engagement team to deliver accurate financial services.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience working in a mid-size public accounting firm preferred.
  • Prior experience working for a U.S.-based firm required.
  • Software proficiency including QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), Excel, and CCH Engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations, in accordance with GAAP
  • Download, categorise, and reconcile banking and credit card transactions in QuickBooks, leveraging available automation and technology tools
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile all balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and support month-end close procedures
  • Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports
  • Prepare and analyse monthly and annual financial statements
  • Prepare partnership and s-corporation tax returns

One of our Partner Firms is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Services Senior Associate to support and expand its growing practice.

Senior Associate - Client Account Services

Experience Level: 3-6 years

Work Hours: 3 PM IST – 12 AM IST (430 AM – 1PM ET)

Overview

The ideal candidate will have at least five 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping and demonstrate a strong working knowledge of general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, ACH and wire transfers, bank reconciliations, and preparation of accurate trial balances. This role requires a strong communicator who can work effectively with both clients and a U.S.-based engagement team.

Key Responsibilities

Work as an effective team member to accurately complete client engagements and assigned tasks, including

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations, in accordance with GAAP
  • Download, categorise, and reconcile banking and credit card transactions in QuickBooks, leveraging available automation and technology tools
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile all balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and support month-end close procedures
  • Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports
  • Prepare and analyse monthly and annual financial statements
  • Prepare partnership and s-corporation tax returns
Skills Required
