Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for US-based clients.
• Handle payroll and sales tax filing processes.
• Record and review financial transactions, invoices, bills, payments and journal entries.
• Perform bank, credit card, vendor, customer and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and post adjusting entries, accruals, prepayments and depreciation entries.
• Close monthly, quarterly and year-end books with accuracy.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheets and cash flow statements for review.
• Coordinate with US clients to obtain financial information and resolve accounting queries.
• Support audit and year-end accounting requirements and deliver schedules.

Role: Accounts, Payroll and Tax Associate (US Domain)

Job Profile:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for US-based clients.
• Handle Payroll and Sales Tax filing processes.
• Record and review financial transactions, invoices, bills, payments, and journal entries.
• Perform Bank, Credit Card, Vendor, Customer, and General Ledger Reconciliations.
• Prepare and post adjusting journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Review financial data and identify discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions.
• Coordinate with US clients to obtain required financial information and resolve accounting queries.
• Support audit and year-end accounting requirements by preparing required schedules and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely completion of client deliverables while maintaining high accuracy.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years' experience of accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Bookkeeping and Accounting Processes.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, Tally
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Good written and verbal English communication skills

Shift Timing: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
