Job summary

Elevate LLC is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to lead U.S. GAAP/audit engagements for client firms, supervise staff, and coordinate daily activities. The role emphasizes strong technical skills, mentorship, and project management.

You will collaborate with onshore teams on U.S.-based engagements, work scheduling 3:00 PM–12:00 AM IST, and participate in a hybrid work model with a focus on quality client service and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
• Nonprofit audit experience is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodologies.
• Experience supporting U.S.-based audit teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion in accordance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Perform and review audit procedures, including controls testing, substantive testing, and analytical procedures
• Coordinate daily engagement activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
• Review workpapers prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback
• Mentor and supervise audit associates
• Communicate effectively with U.S.-based managers and team members

Audit Senior Associate - Future Opportunities

Overview

The Audit Senior Associate plays a lead role in executing audit engagements, supervising staff, and coordinating day-to-day engagement activities. This role requires strong technical skills, project management capability, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion in accordance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS
• Perform and review audit procedures, including controls testing, substantive testing, and analytical procedures
