Job summary

Elevate invites applications for an Audit Manager role supporting U.S.-based engagements from our India delivery hub. You will lead multiple engagements, plan audits, review workpapers, and coordinate with onshore partners while guiding offshore teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in public accounting, CPA/CA preferred, strong leadership, and mastery of GAAP standards. This is a hybrid position with opportunities for growth and professional development within a globally integrated service

Qualifications

• 10+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB, and AICPA standards.
• Hybrid work model with offshore/onshore collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including risk assessment and internal control evaluation
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and disclosures for accuracy and compliance
• Manage client timelines, deliverables, and communications
• Supervise and mentor supervisors, seniors, and associates
• Resolve complex accounting and auditing issues
• Ensure audit documentation meets professional and regulatory standards
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of audit tools and technologies
• Coach and develop offshore audit teams supporting U.S. engagements
• Conduct performance evaluations and workforce planning
• Identify training needs and uphold quality standards
• Maintain team morale and utilization during peak periods

Overview
