Job summary

Weekday in Pune, India is seeking an experienced AEP/CJA Developer to support migration, development, validation, and optimization of marketing analytics solutions using Adobe Experience Platform and Customer Journey Analytics.

The role focuses on rebuilding Adobe Analytics reporting in CJA, configuring data models, developing clickstream-based reporting, and ensuring data accuracy across MarTech pipelines. Strong SQL, Databricks, and Power BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital analytics and Martech roles.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
• Strong knowledge of Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and CJA Analysis Workspace.
• Solid understanding of XDM schemas, datasets, dataviews, and analytics data flows.
• Strong SQL skills including CTEs, window functions, joins, and data reconciliation.
• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud/lakehouse platforms.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI with data modeling and DAX.
• Ability to work independently in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

AEP & CJA Development

• Develop and maintain analytics solutions usingAdobe Experience Platform (AEP)andCustomer Journey Analytics (CJA).
• Support migration of existing Adobe Analytics reports, dashboards, segments, and calculated metrics into CJA.
• Configure and validateXDM schemas, datasets, dataviews, dimensions, metrics, and calculated measures.
• Build CJA Analysis Workspace projects and reporting solutions for web, marketing, and customer journey analytics.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy between legacy Adobe Analytics reporting and CJA implementations.
• Support analytics solutions across multiple markets, locales, languages, and digital properties.

Data Engineering & Validation

• Work with clickstream and web behavioral data, including page views, visits, events, conversions, and traffic attribution.
• Perform end-to-end validation between AEP, Databricks, CJA, and downstream dashboards.
• Develop SQL queries to validate row counts, metric totals, dimension values, event data, and classification logic.
• Identify, investigate, and document data discrepancies across analytics pipelines.
• Create reusable SQL validation queries, comparison frameworks, and QA processes.
• Support UAT and post-deployment validation for analytics implementations.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using CJA and Power BI.
• Develop reporting solutions for campaign performance, landing pages, conversion funnels, email campaigns, experiments, and digital experiences.
• Create pre- and post-migration dashboards to monitor data consistency and reporting accuracy.
• Support scheduled data refreshes and reporting automation using Databricks and other data platforms.

MarTech & Analytics Integration

• Support integration and reporting for marketing platforms such as Braze and experimentation tools.
• Validate campaign events including sends, opens, clicks, conversions, and other engagement metrics.
• Assist with analytics tracking for A/B testing and experimentation platforms.
• Maintain channel, sub-channel, campaign, and traffic classification logic.

Documentation & Support

• Document AEP schemas, datasets, CJA dataview logic, reporting standards, and validation procedures.
• Create reusable templates and reference guides to enable self-service analytics.
• Support weekly analytics reviews by identifying anomalies and preparing performance summaries.
• Investigate ad-hoc analytics requirements and provide accurate, data-driven insights.
• Work independently while proactively identifying blockers, data issues, and implementation gaps.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experiencein digital analytics, web analytics, MarTech analytics, or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on experience withAdobe Experience Platform (AEP).
• Strong experience withCustomer Journey Analytics (CJA)and CJA Analysis Workspace.
• Solid understanding ofXDM schemas, datasets, dataviews, and analytics data flows.
