Job summary

Synergy Source Hr Solutions is seeking a civil/structural design professional with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in industrial projects such as steel plants, power plants, cement plants, mining, and oil & gas. The role involves design calculations, drawings review, BOQ preparation, and detailing for facilities like conveyors and equipment foundations.

The candidate should hold BE/B.Tech in Civil/Structural, with M.Tech preferred, and must have hands-on experience in industrial project design

Responsibilities

• Design calculations (hand, Excel, design software).
• Review/construction drawing checking.
• Estimate concrete quantities and prepare BOQ.
• Review designs/drawings from third-party consultants/vendors.
• Foundation design for conveyors, racks, buildings and equipment foundations.
• RCC frame building design and detailing.
• Equipment-supporting RCC structures for facilities.
• Industrial building and underground structure design.
• Drainage and sewage system design and detailing.
• Earthwork estimation.
• Vendor drawing review and checking.

Role & responsibilities:

• Design calculations (Hand Calculations / Excel / Design Software)
• Construction drawing review and checking
• Concrete quantity estimation and BOQ preparation
• Review of designs and drawings submitted by third-party consultants/vendors

Foundation design for: Conveyors, Pipe Racks, Buildings, Equipment foundations (Pumps, ID Fans, Blowers, etc.), Shed structures etc

• RCC frame building design and detailing
• Equipment-supporting RCC structure design and detailing for facilities such as: Casters, Mills (HSM, CRM, Rebar, etc.), furnaces etc
• Design of Industrial buildings and underground structures
• Drainage and sewage system design and detailing
• Earthwork estimation
• Vendor drawing review and checking

Preferred candidate profile

BE/B.tech ( Civil / Structural )

M.Tech preferred

5 - 10 yrs years experience in civil / structural design

Must have experience of working on industrial projects such as Steel Plant, Power Plant, Cement Plant, Mining, Oil & Gas, etc.
