Job summary

Valplast Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced site in-charge to oversee execution for a multi-section railway project in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. You will deploy and manage labour gangs, subcontractors, P&M and materials, ensuring line, level, profile, quality and specification compliance.

The role covers planning to align with Bar Chart/CPM programmes, block management with 25 kV OHE blocks, client liaison, billing, cost control, daily progress reporting to Head Office and strict

Qualifications

• Execution overall site in-charge for all three parts; deploy and control labour gangs, subcontractors, P&M and materials; ensure line, level, profile, quality and specification compliance.
• Planning — execute the work to achieve the approved Bar Chart / CPM programme: break the master schedule into monthly and weekly block-wise plans, keep manpower, material and machinery ready ahead of each block, monitor progress against target and initiate recovery action on slippage.
• Block management — requisition and utilise traffic and power (25 kV OHE) blocks in coordination with SSE/P.Way, SSE/OHE and TI; hand back the section fit within sanctioned block time.
• Client management — single point of contact for ADEN (M) Igatpuri and Sr. DEN (NE); handle inspections, material and drawing approvals, joint measurements in the MB, hindrance register and correspondence.
• Billing — prepare RA bills in Railway format with correct mapping of executed quantities to USSOR / DSR / NS items and schedule percentages; track SD, TDS, labour cess and GST-compliant invoicing; follow up payments.
• Cost control — reconcile cement, steel and consumables; verify subcontractor bills; monitor item-wise consumption against awarded quantity.
• HO reporting — daily progress report and weekly/monthly MIS to Head Office — progress, manpower, P&M, materials, hindrances, safety, photographs and monthly cash-flow forecast.
• Safety & compliance — enforce Railway safety rules for working near running lines, OHE and at height; maintain test records, checklists and statutory labour compliance (CLRA licence, Form VI-A, wage registers, gate passes).
