Job summary

Avaada Group is seeking an experienced civil/site engineer for hydro, tunneling, infrastructure, or PSP projects in Uttar Pradesh. You will supervise underground works and manage site execution, coordinating with contractors and engineering teams to meet schedules and quality standards.

The role requires strong drawing interpretation, safety discipline, and ability to track progress, reporting, and documentation across daily to monthly milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Civil.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in hydro, tunneling, infrastructure, or PSP projects.
• Experience in supervision of underground works and site execution management.

Responsibilities

• Execute and deliver work fronts under the package per approved drawings and schedule targets.
• Plan and control daily, weekly, and 6-week lookahead activities for front readiness.
• Monitor site progress, productivity, and sequencing; address delays or constraints.
• Ensure drawings, RFIs, RFCs, and site issues are closed in coordination with engineering.
• Identify constructability issues during design/drawing stage and drive resolution.
• Coordinate with contractors for resource deployment and execution targets.
• Verify measurements and progress quantities supporting billing and reconciliation.
• Ensure quality checks and compliance with specifications at site.
• Enforce safety practices and rectify unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain DPRs, hindrance logs, site records, and progress documentation.
• Submit red-mark/as-built drawings and site inputs to engineering timely.
• Participate in daily stand-down meetings, weekly reviews, monthly progress discussions.
• Elevate interface issues and dependencies to Package Incharge.
• Support site-level risk identification and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with planning, QA/QC, contracts, and EHS teams for compliant execution.

Role & responsibilities

• Execute and deliver assigned work fronts under the package (e.g., specific areas within Lot-1) in line with approved drawings, specifications, and schedule targets
• Plan and control daily, weekly, and 6-week lookahead activities, ensuring work front readiness including availability of drawings, manpower, materials, and equipment
• Monitor site progress, productivity, and sequencing of activities, and take timely actions to address delays or constraints
• Ensure timely availability and closure of drawings, RFIs, RFCs, and site engineering issues in coordination with engineering teams
• Identify and proactively raise constructability issues during design/drawing stage and follow through to resolution
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure planned deployment of resources and adherence to execution targets
• Verify and track measurements and progress quantities, supporting billing and reconciliation processes
• Ensure implementation of quality checks, inspection requirements, and compliance with specifications at site
• Enforce safety practices at work fronts, ensuring unsafe conditions are identified and rectified promptly
• Maintain and update DPRs, hindrance logs, site records, and progress documentation accurately
• Ensure timely submission of red-mark/as-built drawings and site inputs to engineering teams
• Participate in and support daily stand-down meetings, weekly reviews, and monthly progress discussions, ensuring closure of assigned actions

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors Degree/ Diploma in Civil

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 8 years of experience in hydro, tunneling, infrastructure, or PSP projects.
• Experience in construction supervision of underground works, roads, civil structures,or electro-mechanical works preferred.
• Exposure to contractor coordination and site execution management is desirable.
