Job summary

Sandip Foundation in Bihar is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years in building construction projects to lead site execution, labour mobilization, and project management.

The candidate should have strong relationships with labour contractors and be able to arrange skilled and unskilled manpower as per project needs; preference will be given to residents of Bihar.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in building construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all phases of building construction projects from inception to completion.
• Plan, organize, and monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure timely project execution.

• Coordinate with labour contractors and manpower suppliers.
• Ensure execution of work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in site execution, labour mobilization, and project management. The candidate must possess strong relationships with labour contractors and be capable of arranging skilled and unskilled manpower as per project requirements. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Bihar.

Key Responsibilitiessss

• Manage and supervise all phases of building construction projects from inception to completion.
• Plan, organize, and monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure timely project execution.
• Mobilize skilled and unskilled labour as per project requirements and maintain optimum workforce availability.
• Coordinate and maintain effective relationships with labour contractors and manpower suppliers.
• Ensure execution of work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion within scheduled timelines and allocated budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review construction drawings and resosslve technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and quality control procedures.
• Manage material planning, procurement coordination and inventory at the project site.
• Verify contractor bills, labour attendance, work measurements, and project documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.

Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and other project staff to ensure efficient project execution.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in labour mobilization and workforce management.
• Strong network and established contacts with labour contractors and manpower agencies.

Thorough understanding of RCC work, finishing works, structural execution, and construction methodologies.

• Knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, and project planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in building construction projects.
