Job summary

RBA Realcon in India is seeking a Civil Engineer for Township Project to supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site and ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, BOQ, and schedule.

You will coordinate with contractors, QA/QC, safety, MEP, planning teams, monitor progress, check quality, and maintain comprehensive project records to drive timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the township site.
• Execute construction work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedule.
• Supervise RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and external development works.
• Handle township infrastructure works including internal roads, drains, sewer lines, water supply lines, chambers, and utility services.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and other site teams.
• Monitor manpower, material, machinery, and overall site productivity.
• Check construction quality and ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
• Verify site measurements, quantities, BOQ items, and contractor bills.
• Monitor daily and weekly project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Identify site issues, technical discrepancies, and execution delays and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, and infrastructure drawings.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, measurements, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Safety, MEP, Planning, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
• Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage at site.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
• Participate in site meetings and provide regular updates on work progress and site requirements.
• Ensure all civil works are completed within the required quality, cost, and timeline parameters.
